Staging Area
The race staging area is located behind the reviewing stands at Royal Street and King Street in Old Town.  You must be registered and waiting at the staging area at 12:30pm; at this time runners will be allowed access to the start line for a gun start at 12:40pm.  If you are registering onsite, prepare to arrive no later than 12:15pm.  Check or cash only.

Downtown Old Town will be extremely busy with pre-parade pedestrian and vehicular traffic. Allow sufficient time.

Restrooms & Post-Race Brunch
Restrooms and post-race brunch are located at the American Legion at 400 Cameron Street, one block from the start. Show your bib for access.

Your packet contains: your race bib and your timing chip.  Please return your timing chip at the finish.

TIMING

This event will utilize disposable ChronoTrack timing tags. No tag = no time.

AWARDS

Cash prizes to top males/females in event (gun time)
$100/$75/$50
 
Top male & female finishers in the following age categories will receive merchandise awards:
14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over.
Note - Prizes are M/F and no duplicate prizes are allowed

There is no awards ceremony for this events. Awards will be available for pick up at Pacers of Alexandria.

PARKING & TRANSPORTATION

This run is along the parade route and crowds congregate very early. Therefore, it is important that you allow yourself plenty of time for parking and getting through the crowds to the start.  We strongly suggest parking near Pacers Alexandria (1301 King Street) and jogging to the start. If you park in designated parade parking areas (e.g. City Hall lot) YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MOVE YOUR VEHICLE UNTIL AFTER THE PARADE.
 
The King Street Metro is located five blocks from Pacers Alexandria:

IMPORTANT INFORMATION - You must be at the starting line by 12:30pm for escort. Gun time is at 12:40pm. It is STRONGLY suggested that you arrive at the event site no later than 12:10pm. There is expected to be a large amount of traffic and pedrestrians at this year's parade, so arrive early in order to not miss the final call to the line.

Official gun time of 12:40pm. Runners will be escorted to the start line at 12:30, and at that point, the start line area will be closed to pedestrians and all traffic.
